I live under the flight path --hardly ever hear anything coming or going at night; never anything of commercial size. Occasional prop plane; rare baby jet. I think they have mostly daytime operations up there. But again, who/what company shuts down their routers and the other stuff, just to go back the next day and boot it all up again. For that matter, the library itself. I can't imagine they would shutdown their routers & everything else just for one day, would they? Maybe they do, but you could probably test it from the parking lot on Sunday when they are normally closed anyway. Although the airport sounds groovier, plus the rest rooms there might be open too. I realize it's risky, but I don't have internet to my house and looking things up on my tiny phone screen is driving me nuts. I have a laptop running opensuse that's useless without WiFi. Colleges don't that I know of, but I'd be suspect of free wifi that wasn't from the library anyway. What's your use case, including device? As Tim pointed out in the last meeting, you can own people pretty quickly when they connect to your wifi.
