Hi,
Anyone on here using Charter Telephone VOIP service? I've currently
got Verizon, but the wife hates it because our phone lines get flaky
all the time, esp when it rains.
So I'm thinking to save money and combine all my stuff onto Charter.
I've already got High Speed internet and regular old cable. Not wild
about Digital Cable since I'm happy with Tivo and I don't want yet
another set top box to have to deal with...
So, any horror stories about Charter Phone VOIP quality and service?
Thanks,
John
Anyone know of any place hiring for entry level it? I'm fairly skilled with
both linux system administration and have a good knowledge of windows
system administration for small AD setups.
Here is a reminder for this month's WLUG meeting. See you Thursday at
7PM sharp in the WPI Campus Center, Mid-Centry Room.

Hi folks,
This month, the Worcester Linux Users' Group (WLUG) monthly meeting
will be held on THURSDAY instead of the usual Wednesday, and the
meeting will be starting promptly at 7PM since we must finish and be
out of the room by 8PM. Additionally, the location is different this
month:
Thursday, April 12, 7:00 - 8:00 PM
WPI Campus Center, Mid-Century Room (room 331)
Longtime WLUG member Tim Keller will be talking about ZFS, the
Zettabyte FileSystem for Oracle Solaris and FreeBSD (ports available
for Linux too). I'm sure there will be a demo as well.
Afterwards, we will go out for pizza and continue our discussions.
See you there,
Chuck
President, Worcester Linux Users' Group
