Charter Telephone reviews, boylston?
by John Stoffel
Hi,
Anyone on here using Charter Telephone VOIP service? I've currently
got Verizon, but the wife hates it because our phone lines get flaky
all the time, esp when it rains.
So I'm thinking to save money and combine all my stuff onto Charter.
I've already got High Speed internet and regular old cable. Not wild
about Digital Cable since I'm happy with Tivo and I don't want yet
another set top box to have to deal with...
So, any horror stories about Charter Phone VOIP quality and service?
Thanks,
John

I'm hearing a consensus for pushing the BBQ off till Sept. or Oct...
Which means we're still going to have a meeting this Thursday!
We've got room 129 in the campus center reserved. I'll put out a
legitimate announcement.
Thanks,
Tim.

Hi,
I think a fall BBQ is a good idea. If it is a little cool you can put on a
sweatshirt or sweater. If it is too hot you can only take off so much, and
even less legally.

I'm busy the 18th, so I don't have much of an opinion. Granted I think one at WPI isn't a bad idea, nor is postponing.

No official updates to the WLUG bbq... I'm open to ideas. My house is not
suited to host a BBQ due to the ugly fact my grill is busted...
One option might be to just postpone it and do an Autumn BBQ when it's not
1000 degrees outside.
Another *crazy* option is if someone has a portable grill, either come to
my house or check with WPI and have a BBQ on their quad.
Feel free to chime in with your ideas!
Thanks,
Tim.
