Hi,
Anyone on here using Charter Telephone VOIP service? I've currently
got Verizon, but the wife hates it because our phone lines get flaky
all the time, esp when it rains.
So I'm thinking to save money and combine all my stuff onto Charter.
I've already got High Speed internet and regular old cable. Not wild
about Digital Cable since I'm happy with Tivo and I don't want yet
another set top box to have to deal with...
So, any horror stories about Charter Phone VOIP quality and service?
Thanks,
John
Hey Gang,
Would people find it interesting in doing either a ZFS centric meeting, or
doing a compare/contrast Linux file system bonanza?
Thanks,
Tim.

Agreed, great meeting. I learned several things from Frank's talk, I
had no idea about the "hot plate" and temperature issues. And it was
cool to see Jeff's machine in action, despite the hiccups.
I should go to more meetings. #sophisticatedcat

Hey Everybody,
We've got a meeting this Thursday! We've been tossing around talking about
ZFS on linux and 3D printing. I haven't heard back from Chuck about where
the meeting is going to be held yet.
Does anybody have a preference on a topic?
When: Thursday May 14th, 2015 @ 7pm
Where: WPI (somewhere!)
What: Either ZFS on linux or 3d printing.
Refreshments: The usual!
Thanks,
Tim.

Hello Everyone,
Since it's been quite here on the e-list, I figured I'd ask a
non-technical question?
Can anyone recommend a good contact/address book program for off line use?
One that has a good export/back up function (preferably backing up as text)
I've google searched it, and did not get far with that.
