Hi,
Anyone on here using Charter Telephone VOIP service? I've currently
got Verizon, but the wife hates it because our phone lines get flaky
all the time, esp when it rains.
So I'm thinking to save money and combine all my stuff onto Charter.
I've already got High Speed internet and regular old cable. Not wild
about Digital Cable since I'm happy with Tivo and I don't want yet
another set top box to have to deal with...
So, any horror stories about Charter Phone VOIP quality and service?
Thanks,
John
So, to make a story short I am a new member to this
group. I've been here, close to the Worcester area
and would like to meet with you guys. I have been
using Linux for the past 10 years without a LUG, so
this time I would like to do things differently, and get
together. Basically I wanted to say that I have been a
lone ranger for the last 10 year. I have been to the
website but there is no mentioned of the next
meeting.
A friend of mine wants to use Skype for video conferencing since the
windows beta handles that. Does anyone know of an open source program
equivalent for linux and windows?
Hi all,
Just wondering if there is/was a WLUG meeting this evening.
Other events kept got me there at 7:15pm but could not find WLUG on
the first floor of Morgan Hall (prior HR training room or otherwise).
Thanks,
Joel
I'm looking at a few groupware packages for a non-profit I help out...
At this time, I'm leaning toward Citadel;
http://www.citadel.org/doku.php

Basically, I need to set them up with something that does e-mail and
calendaring and when changes are needed or new accounts are needed I
don't have to do a site visit and touch each computer - or manage
several types of e-mail clients.
Anyone using this package, or know of it?
Any feedback, or alternate recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
