Hi,
Anyone on here using Charter Telephone VOIP service? I've currently
got Verizon, but the wife hates it because our phone lines get flaky
all the time, esp when it rains.
So I'm thinking to save money and combine all my stuff onto Charter.
I've already got High Speed internet and regular old cable. Not wild
about Digital Cable since I'm happy with Tivo and I don't want yet
another set top box to have to deal with...
So, any horror stories about Charter Phone VOIP quality and service?
Thanks,
John
Does anyone know Python Django and Apache mod_wsgi? I would love an
introductory talk on this topic, maybe for the December meeting? I'm
mostly interested in overall architecture and how to deploy and manage
Django apps, rather than how to write Django apps from scratch. If I
can get this much figured out, we could have a new mailinglist + web
forum server for WLUG!
And hover is the new name of tucows...

I'm using Google Domains. Great service, easy to use, inexpensive.
http://domains.google.com/
Transferred all my domains over from Tucows, who were ok but not as good.

I've been using hover for years. I've had no problems with them, but I've
never tried anyone else, so can't compare.

I'm currently using GoDaddy for work, but I've heard nothing but good stuff
about namecheap. I have it on my todo list to start migrating over to them.

I personally use Mediatemple, where I manage ~8 domains. They've got great
customer support, and a really slick control panel. They're primarily a
hosting site, but they're really good either way.

We either use namecheap, or Dyn. Both are reasonably priced and have good reputations.
