I just got a wad of messages from last week. Don't know what happened, but it looks like not my fault. MX1.WPI.EDU takes seven days to deliver a message to itself. Why exactly seven days? (plus one second) Not my problem, I'm still thinking about Knuth Vol 4B, problem 121, and how to prove the Myhill-Nerode theorem in a monoidal closed category. This a test. Is it still April? My calendar says May, but it's 2009. I save paper by using old caledars (there's always a month that starts on the same day of the week). -- Keith

I believe at this point ALL the rooms in WPI have hdmi. That shouldn't be a problem. I do believe all the rooms have at the podium a 3mm head phone jack. Thanks, Tim. I've got some technical concerns about the demo. Just want to make sure we have all the right stuff on hand. No VGA port on the laptop, just HDMI. The one time I tested that (yesterday) there was no audio through the HDMI. The laptop speakers are loud enough if you hold your ear close. Can we patch into the sound system with a mini-jack? (Or does someone have a pair of micro-speakers they can bring along in their pocket?)
