Thank you for the post. I'm still here as a Wlug member. When is the next meeting? Perhaps we can have a meeting about the present dark hacks and malware. Meanwhile, I'm touring the new Linux Mint 18 and find it fresh and very stable but limited in some areas. I think they will add things to upgrades and updates. Again, thank you.

Tim, The meeting announcement I sent to the IEEE members (see below) included the wrong room number. I cannot notify them before the meeting of the typo that was in the announcement. Tomorrow I will be in Boston all day at a VMware vForum conference that ends at 4-5 o'clock and can't be sure I will get to WPI before 7pm. Is there some way you can put up some signage on Washburn doors indicating the correct room number? There seem to be a several WLUG people who know a lot about this, but there are also those of us who first heard of it a few weeks ago. Please don't let it turn into an insider discussion of marketing buzzwords. (1) What goes into a container? (2) What can I now do with a full container that Kernighan and Ritchie couldn't do in 1976 with a Unix process? (3) etc. -- Keith

Hey Gang, WPI's scheduling software decided that 8:30pm was close enough to 7pm... We're going to move the meeting to the 15th, so we can have a) a better choice of meeting rooms b) a more acceptable meeting time!! The topic is still going to be Docker, only now a week later! I'm still confirming with Will, but I figure it's better to get this out now then wait. Sorry for all the confusion. BTW, I see an earlier offer from Logan that his roommate William Temple might give a talk on containers. Hi, I think a fall BBQ is a good idea. If it is a little cool you can put on a sweatshirt or sweater.
