I haven't used USB tethering for several years, but my Galaxy S6 tethers via wifi quite well... Android USB tethering

Does anyone have experience tethering an Android phone to their PC via USB? I'm trying FoxFi (pdanet.co) on my phone. It says you need to run companion software on your PC, and they offer that software for Windows and Mac, but not for Linux. I don't have internet access to my home anymore, so I can't search repositories like I used to. -- Thanks! Rich

I have an Arduino here, never used; new in packaging. This is an Arduino Uno, I guess the original, made in Italy. The kit contains the controller board, a 16 x 2 character LCD module (green screen), and a power supply. See wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arduino I will never use this, but I know someone can. Maybe a fun project for the right kid or parent/child combo to build something with it. Someone should come get this. I am conveniently located near Elm Park, not far from WPI and easy to find. You could drop by on your way to/from the meeting. I could tuck it away out of sight on the front porch for you, with your name on it. Liz J

I use Plex and would love to learn more about it, and about similar things, such as Kodi. I'm also interested in Bitcoin, though, mostly, I want a way to recover the Bitcoin wallet I created (and lost all info for) a couple years ago. However, I realized at the time of the last meeting, that Thursday nights are also open shop night at Worcester Earn-a-bike, which creates a conflict for me. I could bring it and talk about it, but would likely be a relatively short discussion. BitCoin for me has less interest. Technically it's harder to mine for BitCoin prime numbers every month. As a financial currency it is not very strong, not quite taking the world by storm. I like it's government independence, but prepper friends prefer precious metals.
