looking for free login software...

Anyone aware of free software (CGI, et al.) that i can use for my website that would allow users to create a login (with approval), and to log those logins, and so on? I really don't have the time to write one myself and I'm sure they are out there somewhere... Thanks! Steve

Seting up IPSec

Hi, I'd like to try setting up a FreeS/Wan IPSec tunnel between my network and anyone who has a static IP address for test purposes. My cable connection is assigned by DHCP, but I have a registered name for the address, sgaede.ne.client2.attbi.com. On my private subnet, I have a second PC. I can run Win98, W2K, and a couple flavors of Linux on my gateway, and Linux / Win98 on my private subnet. I've tried setting up a connection between the two boxes, but it fails because the two machines are on the same subnet... Anyone interested? Thanks, Skip

Looking for PHP/Forms help

Hi All, I've been working on a database with a web interface for the past few years in my spare time, and as you can guess, I haven't had much time lately, and they people I'm doing this for would like to get it wrapped up if possible. I'm looking for someone to help me understand/write PHP code (possibly using PHPLIB and oohforms) to add/edit/delete records in a MySQL database. This isn't really hard, except that I need to be able to add/edit varying numbers of fields in each record. For a better example, take a look at: http://jfs.ecotarium.org/AAS/john/sql-search.php and search for the name "Anderson". As you can see, records can have varying numbers of Roles, References, Addresses, etc. The searching of the DB is working just fine, as you can see, it really just needs some tweaking on the search form side, but the core is all there. I've been beating my head out with the PHPLIB oohforms stuff to try and make it so I can start out with a basic record: heading, ref, role, authority number, note and address. I need to be able to allow the user to add additional roles, references, and addresses when adding records. So does anyone out there have either: 1. good oohforms examples? 2. good ideas on what other PHP libraries I can use to make my life simpler, or ideally some code I can steal, file off the serial numbers, and re-work to do what I need? Driver question

I tried playing around on the net and I didn't find it in the first 100 links on google so I was wondering if anyone out there might know this. You could of just used either knoppix or cool kinux to boot of the CD drive, no need to install suse just to run reiserfsck. I have bough becuase for soem reason one works one some of my computer while ther other oen does not, dont quite understand. Hi, My son-in-law has two offices, one in Worcester and one in Brocton, and he want to logically tie them together. The office in Brocton has a dialup connection to AOL, while the office in Worcester has a DSL connection.

I ended up buying SuSE 8.2 and installing it on another drive. I then used reiserfsck that came with it to repair the partition. Big mistake, the data was lost. Now I am off to rebuild my system from backups. :(
