I believe at this point ALL the rooms in WPI have hdmi. That shouldn't be a problem. I do believe all the rooms have at the podium a 3mm head phone jack. Thanks, Tim. I've got some technical concerns about the demo. Just want to make sure we have all the right stuff on hand. No VGA port on the laptop, just HDMI. The one time I tested that (yesterday) there was no audio through the HDMI. The laptop speakers are loud enough if you hold your ear close. Can we patch into the sound system with a mini-jack? (Or does someone have a pair of micro-speakers they can bring along in their pocket?) Peter Pouliot, who is the MS guy working on getting Hyper-V support back into OpenStack, spoke at last year's PuppetConf in Boston, and said that *nix stacks will likely come back into MS products so MS can play with the likes of OpenStack and similar opensource tools making their way into devOps, EntOps, cloud apps and big data.
