While I think having an ISO image for download would be a good idea, a
general download area where folks can post items of interest, say from one
of the WLUGs, might be a better idea. That way, if someone has items that
have been discussed in either a meeting or on the mailing list, then they
can put it somewhere for others to grab.
Of course, there is the perennial problem of making sure this isn't used
for illicit materials and/or that the site isn't swamped, but there are
many ways to manage that. Most companies have an area for this sort of
thing and I'll bet we could come up with a solution as well.
Too bad I can't make the next meeting, but I'll bet a good discussion over
pizza and beer might yield some good ideas!

P.S. I'm just in the process of building a new RH server machine for
myself and my domains. I plan on having such a download area and would be
interested in being educated as to the pros and cons of that sort of
service. I had thought about putting Linux stuff in there, so maybe there
is a potential fit with WLUG?
