This month we're going to be doing something different! Time & Date: 7PM, February 20th, 2018 Location: WPI Fuller Labs Rm 311 Topic: Cryptography! The speaker for this meeting is my good friend Dr. Nick Howgrave-Graham. He's a cryptographer who has experience in both the making and breaking of encryption systems. This will be a general talk about some commonly used encryption systems, the math around them and how some of these systems have been broken through poor design. If there are some specific encryption algorithm / system that you'd like to deep dive, email the list, I'll let Nick know and possibly he can focus on that. As usual snacks and refreshments will be provided and afterwards we'll head off for a bite to eat. Next Meeting Date

I know that there was talk of possibly changing the WLUG meeting date from Thursday February 8th to Tuesday February 20th, but I did not hear if this change is confirmed or not. Feb 8th is still listed on the google calendar/WLUG site. So wondering which day will the new meeting be? -Ron

The calendar on the website is a Google Calendar. Tim, Frank, and myself have access to change the calendar from any Google calendar client, including google.com/calendar. I recommend Jorte on Android, but the built-in Google calendar on Android should work fine as well. Ideally, whomever reserves a room and/or announces a meeting date/time/topic would update the calendar at the same time. Just change "only this event" so as to not mess up the default recurring schedule. The calendar is public so anyone can subscribe to it so it shows up on their own personal device(s): https://calendar.google.com/calendar?cid=bzVvc3E4NTBsazYxZThoMW4xbzFybGRiNz… Tuesday Feb 20th works for me. I'm fine with that. If we're going to do it, someone should update the website for that specific day.
