I saw a project to create an FOSS bluetooth speaker using a Pi 4! I've also seen people using pi's to create spotify streamers as well. This is of interest to me as my sonos gear is getting older, I'd like some open options. Beyond that I just know there will be interesting things people want to talk about, there always is! In other news in Oct. Dick Miller will be speaking at WLUG! I'd like to start thinking about what we'd like to talk about in Nov. As the web changes and the technologies underpinning complex websites grow and evolve, managing all this by hand becomes nearly impossible. Load balancers, database servers.. Now what if this website also needs to be scaled across cloud providers and on prem? What happens when your favorite cloud company whose data center is just a bunch of shipping containers burns to the ground? How easily could you reconstitute your website and all the underpinnings? Keith, Just a heads up, but editing Video is a very memory and cpu hungry task. I've tried it on and off for years on my Linux systems using various tools and it was always a chore. I've tried 'openshot' in the past, and in the way way past I tried 'cinelerra', but it was pretty bad then. I think I tried 'kedenlive' as well. But I'm honestly not a good video editor and it was frustrating on an under-powered system. But these days might be better, especially if you are using a more bleeding edge linux distro like Fedora or Ubuntu or Linux Mint. Pitivi can certainly do that. It's probably easier with a command line tool. Pitivi gives you a timeline with multiple layers. So you can do more complicated editing than just combining two videos. For example for the kickstarter video I have a section with me talking while Robotron: 2084 from the Atari 7800 is running in a section of the screen. Free Dell PowerSwitch 5324

Guys, I've got a free Dell PowerSwitch 5324, it's 24 1gb ports and I replaced the loud fans with some quieter ones, but now the fan error light is always on. Is anyone interested in this? It works great, it's just old and I wanted to move to all TP-Link at home to manage it all with Omada. Sorta good idea...
