KVM to SUN converter??

by Ken Jones

I'm not sure what I am talking about. I know that the terminal for my SUN ULTRA1 is different than the terminal for my DELL PC. I have purchased a IOGEAR KVM switch. I would like to include the SUN machine in the set of computers that can share my one keyboard, mouse and terminal. What do I order which will make this possible? Ken Jones of Fitchburg.

Summer internship: Linux system administrator (Worcester)

by Brian Conway

Hi guys, the company I work for is hiring a summer intern with Linux experience and interest in network and VoIP engineering. We're a small startup in the Worcester area, near 290 and the Pike. Experience with *any* of the following is great: Red Hat/CentOS, Asterisk, Python, PHP, networking, firewalls, and VPNs. Feel free to hit me up with questions or resumes. I don't know what computer/*NIX mailing lists at WPI are popular, but a forward would be cool, too. Thanks much. Brian Conway

More worrysome for me than the data mining practices is that as a dad with three kids that use Facebook, are the intellectual property rights issues that have cropped up over the last few years. Facebook has eased off a bit, but my understanding is that a typical user's content can be commercially expoited in perpetuity by Facebook if they feel like it.
