Red Hat (or Sendmail, I forget) changed the default for sendmail to listen only on 127.0.0.1, to prevent insecure default open mail relays. This is mentioned in the Red Hat 7.3 Release Notes.... To fix it, edit /etc/mail/sendmail.mc. Find the line with "Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA". Comment it out by putting dnl at the beginning of that line. Then regenerate the /etc/sendmail.cf from the mc file like this: m4 /etc/mail/sendmail.mc > /etc/sendmail.cf And please limit access to sendmail properly so you don't become an open relay (/etc/mail/access)! -- Charles R. RH7.3 Questions -round 4

In that case, I want to know what's happening before I blow my weeks allowance. I could see Spiderman for that! The main attraction is Bob Davis, former CEO of Lycos and Terra Lycos, and currently a venture partner at Highland Capital Partners, will present Street Smart Lessons from the Front Lines of Business.  Bob will also be available following the presentation for a book signing of Speed Is Life Or in other words, unemployed yet suspiciously rich guy in suit, who thinks he's a technology guru even though he could not write the device driver for a lightbulb, promotes himself, his book, and his plan for YOU to get RICH using the revolutionary power of Positive Thinking^W^W The Internet^W^W buying his advice. The more I see, the less I feel I have in common with these people. Maybe we would have more fun joining with the Northampton Homebrew Beer Filter Users Group. "Invalid data track crashes windows" part of me thinks it would just work, since at no point would you be automounting an invalid ISO filesystem. On the other hand, it might be an invalid TOC, which means you might have to send cdparanoia some options.
