We can talk about this at the meeting but looking at at calendar the Feb. WLUG meeting is going to fall on Valentines day. I see this as a problem... Why don't we move it to the 21st preemptively. I have seen firewalls, when downloading a large file, reduce in performance until the connection appears to freeze. The comment about the router being old has SOME validity. Would a firmware update of the router be in order? I have come to expect a new windows box to be busy for a while doing updates when it is first turned on (*ugh*).
