I know Mandrake includes Mozilla (probably out of date by now), XMMS, ogg-vorbis tools, VNC, Lame, Gaim, Jabber, Licq, and Alsa and OSS plugins, and I'm sure SuSE does with its monstrous CD collection or DVD. I think the latest kernel source, Mozilla milestone, and the free-to-download commercial programs mentioned are definitely a good idea for the CD. Brian J. You can add sound apps... ALSA O.S.S. The Alsa and OSS plugins for XMMS.. Also a collection of themes from classic.themes.org would be nice, window managers and such.. Ill help collect if you like. IMing is the Rage these days. Maybe GAIM/EveryBuddy/ICQ one. I think Mplayer is a must too, everybody loves media. You should put soem skisn on tehre too, Mplayer with -gui is not usable without skins. Hey All... Like Always, I put together a "killer apps" cd that has what I think people would want and need... This is what I've got on it so far, I'd like some input on things to add...
