Client could not connect using FTP in a network which the server using ipchains.

Friends, can you help me here, I've got a problem, I 'm implementing ipchains in my gateway server, so, all the thing I've done were masquerading all the clients connection, so, port 20,21,22,23,25,110,80,53 (ftp data,ftp, ssh,telnet,mail, http, and dns are masqueraded. My clients got no problem using the internet for http, mail access, but they get problem on ftp, they could not connect, the error was " ftp: connect :Unknown error number" can you please tell me whic other port that I should to masquerade in order to enable ftp access from my client, Thanks Aramico

Thanks. That was the right file. The .bak file was still good, so I just placed it, and it works now. If you go into your "home/avedis/.mozilla" directory, then into your profile dir, and the funky-looking directory after that... grep newsrc_root * should reveal the setting inside of prefs.js (and maybe prefs.bak)... mozilla can't find my mail

My filesystem got crunched, and mozilla stopped seeing all my mail messages and accounts. I tried re-installing (1.3) and it still doesn't see anything. I got this error message - error occurred reading the startup config file line 258 SyntaxError: unterminated long string literal. user_pref("mail.newsrc_root"), "home/avedis/.mozi# HTTP Cookie File I'm not clear on what or where the startup config file is. Is there an easy way to save this? I'm probably going to upgrade from SuSE 7.2 to Debian 3 in about a week, so maybe it doesn't matter. I have backup copies of all my mail files on another drive, and I hope to resurrect those after I re-install everything. Instructions for doing that might be more useful. Thanks. Greg
