It lets you export your whole X display over VNC. I just tried it on a system here, and it does work - in fact, if you run the viewer on the same host, you get an "infinite hall of mirrors effect", like pointing a webcam at your monitor, http://www.bluebutton.com/wlug/x11vnc-hom.png A useful tool for remote access, AND for Cthulhu to inflict non-euclidean madness on X11 users! :) Happy holidays all! -Jamie

There's a fair amount in them, but no error (EE) entries. However, one thing comes to mind... I had been playing with screen resolution some weeks before this "event", and this was the first reboot.
