Assuming you're talking about the one based on the dxr3 chipset, then yes, it exists, but the last time I tried it - it wasn't entirely reliable - though it did work in most circumstances. REMINDER: Meeting on Wednesday, June 18th

Hi everybody, The next WLUG meeting will be on Wednesday, June 18th in a different place. This time, we're in Olin Hall room 107 (the big lecture hall on the left on the first floor of Olin Hall). More detailed directions are available on the WLUG website. The meeting time is the usual 7:00 PM. A couple of people had mentioned an interest in addressing WLUG, but I currently don't have a definite commitment for a speaker for this meeting. I would therefore llke to use this as a planning meeting to decide what activities the group would like to pursue over the next few months. Perhaps these folks would like to make a commitment for a future WLUG meeting (if so, please contact me directly). I'll bring some light refreshments. If there are enough of us, we'll go to the Boynton Restaurant afterwards for pizza/beer. The Hollywood Plus has the same driver as the Creative Labs dxr3, there's a project page at http://dxr3.sourceforge.net/ I've tried the drivers on my dxr3, which worked OK, but I never got the VGA-overlay working properly. I tried playing around on the net and I didn't find it in the first 100 links on google so I was wondering if anyone out there might know this. Thanks Man, Btw, I dont know..... What a day! I've just re-instal the default openssl rpm, But, I'm still using the latest tar.gz version of the openssl for my apache and ssh. It works. IIRC, the TLS stuff is related to encrypted communications, which you probably broke when compiling openssl. 530 TLS subsystem failed.

Hi all, I've just re-compilled all the system's need such as openssl, php and its need, etc. Here, I got a problem like this : [root@voyager named]# ftp 192.168.21.22 Connected to 192.168.21.22 (192.168.21.22). 530 TLS subsystem failed. ftp> Can you please inform me what was wrong with this ? Is it a kind of problem which caused by openssl upgrade ? How can I solve this ? In fact, I get a slow connection too when accessing local mail using browser. I can send and receive mail fast using outlook. Thanks.

whois question

Is there a way to do a whois search for a registrants name, and get all the domains registered in that name? I checked the RIPE help file (whois -h whois.ripe.net HELP), but I don't understand it. I figure there's some way to do an inverse search with the -i switch, but it's not doing what I want it to do. Thanks. Greg

I, too, have been playing with VNC. I use it to avoid running upstairs when the modem on my wife's win-me box goes down. It does work very well.
