there is a place in leominster that will take it at 10c/lb.....meaning you pay them 10c for every pound of whatever you want to get rid of. They are behind the "Sears town mall" now re-named "The Mall at Whitney Field". I'm fairly certain you need a car tag to dump there but I don't think they care if you're just dropping off electronics, since they charge you a fee anyway. It's reasonable, $5-30(iirc), depending on size. Take care, James

Harvey in Westborough. I would have looked around for a better deal (my town takes them for $10, between 9am-noon *one* day a year), but I had to make room in my garage. -Jamie

More to what others are saying, my laptop that overheats has a similar problem where it will tank under an enourmous load (the temp gets to 84C). Open the case and make sure the CPU fan is running. While oyu're in there, blow out any dust you can with some compressed air, just to make sure. ULTRA1 Gentoo Install presents a problem
