A good topic is always security. Security concerning the installation of 3rd party applications and what measures should be taken to ensure a secure system possibly? Just throwing ideas onto the wall. Trolling for a meeting topic

by Andy Stewart

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Everybody, We have a meeting coming up soon and I'm looking for somebody who has a topic they'd like to present at the meeting. There's free pizza for you after the meeting if you do the presentation (wow - such a deal!!). Here's another idea: if we had a topic where we could have a round table discussion, that would work also. We had a meeting like this a couple of months ago and it worked out well. The choice of topic is an open topic for discussion. Let us know your thoughts. The meeting is currently scheduled for this coming Thursday, July 14th at 7 PM. Thanks! FC3 Wireless Question

by Eric Martin

Ok, this is to all of the Fedora / Red Hat users. I just loaded FC3 on a new machine, and the only way to get network on it is wireless. I'm trying to use a linksys wusb11 (99.9999% positive it uses the prism2 chipset) . No matter what I do, I can't get /proc/net/dev to show a wireless device. I compiled the modules myself, tried hermes modules, even tried ndiswrapper althogh I can't get that to work. any help is appreciated. Eric
