I think the Burlington location could not easily compete with B&N a quarter mile down the street and carrying a lot of simliar/same titles for less. If B&N doesn't have a title, usually I'll go online unless I'm in a real hurry for the book, in which case I think I went to Softpro once.... cover price gets old. -mike

Upon seeing that, I suspected that this info was also buried in the KDE Control Center, but I don't see it there (I'm running KDE 3.1.4). After poking around, I see that it is available in the KDE Help Center (khelpcenter). I tried using the fish protocol to access the machine hosting the WLUG website, and it worked just great. I've been looking for this definitive list of the KIOSlaves for some time. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction! I don't know if KDE started it or not, but at least gnome and lftp both support "fish" protocol. KDE: Konqueror and fish protocol

HI all, Does anybody know what this "fish protocol" is that Konqueror can apparently use? I've noticed in Konqueror that besides typing "http:", one can also type things like "camera:", "ftp:", "sftp:" (but it doesn't quite work for me), and perhaps many others. I've just discovered "fish:" which appears to work the way I would expect "sftp:" to work. Does anybody have any experience with this?
