I was thinking of doing a quick talk about my experiences with MinIO. It's
S3 storage on prem that works really great! In addition to that I've been
experimenting with restic. Restic is a backup system that can make use of
S3/MinIO storage to create efficient backups.
Remember, there are two types of people in the world.. Those who have
backups and those who *wish they had!*
To dovetail with this is another topic that people might find interesting,
that is TrueNAS Scale. I've been using it in production and for personal
fun as well. Its App stack is pretty slick for people who want to start
self hosting.
