May WLUG Meeting: Field Trip to Technocopia on May 12th!

Hey Everybody! We are going on a field trip! When: May 12th Where: Technocopia @ 44 Portland St. Worcester MA. Parking: By 7pm the lot next to the building is empty so parking is easy. Who: Kevin Harrington What: Kevin will be giving a tour of the place and then a demo of Bowler Robotics Studio I would thank long time member Ron for organizing this! It wasn't just you. The WPI campus email servers had a glitch in the anti spam system, and a large backlog of messages, including WLUG, got caught up in it. I believe at this point ALL the rooms in WPI have hdmi. That shouldn't be a problem. I do believe all the rooms have at the podium a 3mm head phone jack. Thanks, Tim. I've got some technical concerns about the demo. Just want to make sure we have all the right stuff on hand. No VGA port on the laptop, just HDMI. The one time I tested that (yesterday) there was no audio through the HDMI. The laptop speakers are loud enough if you hold your ear close. Can we patch into the sound system with a mini-jack? (Or does someone have a pair of micro-speakers they can bring along in their pocket?)
