Hi WLUG members, It's that time a year again for the WLUG BBQ! Thanks to Doug Mildram for hosting again this year. Nope, but if you do find such a group, please share. The only real interesting projects I'm aware of, are mostly the ones I've read about in Linux Journal. Hope this is appropriate. I prefer to do local sale only with cars so I thought what the heck. Here are the details: 1963 Mercury Monterey Custom 2 Door Hardtop Breezeway Here is a rare near-mint condition 2-door version of the 1963 Monterey. Barn find! Engine compartment is very clean. This car frame and floor are solid. The frame, floors and under carriage of this car are very clean. Car has been primed white. Has installed 15" tires, and includes original 14" tires. Sonos! Full disclosure: I work for them :) The truth is that Sonos is far and away the best solution if you want multi-room ... if you just want point-to-point and you're hacker-friendly (which is probably the case, as you're on this list) then squeezebox is cheaper, fine for a single connection, and allows you to hack their box. If you want a full treatise on why and where Sonos is better, I'm more than happy to oblige. Announce: WLUG Meeting Thursday July 8 7PM

Hi folks, Our next WLUG meeting is scheduled to be held on Thursday, July 8 at 7:00 PM in Morgan Hall at the WPI campus in Worcester, MA USA. This is an informal open meeting. Anyone who is interested in a certain topic, feel free to come to the meeting and discuss it. There has been a lot of talk about streaming music to stereo systems, so I suggest we talk about that. We'll also discuss the WLUG BBQ which is on for August! We'll go out for pizza afterwards. The meeting room is in WPI's Morgan Hall (building 'H' on the campus map [1]), down the hallway to the right of the dining hall entrance. I've always thought putting a Chumby (http://www.chumby.org) on top of the TV/Stereo might be the answer, esp with Pandora or some other streaming app running on there. John
