My experience, exporting a commercial database can be tough.. Find out if your lucky enough to have a ODBC interface or something. or try and find where the database stores it's files and try to decipher :). Keller, Tim wrote: > Nope. The first big issue your going to have to tackle is getting the data out of the existing database. I highly doubt that this proprietary software will let you do something like export your whole catalog to a comma delimited file. If it can, then you'd be all set. Which database are you currently using. Their are some tools available to port from MS SQL Server to MySQL or Postgres. I prefer Postgres because it has the functionality of a "real" database (referential integrety, functions, triggers, etc.) although with MySQL version 5 some of these features are being added.
