If you bought the modem it was $195.00. If you take the buy option you can spread the modem payment out over three months. I took the buy option it will pay for itself in a year. John................... Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much you already have.

I am using charter as well. With the promotion of a free month of service if I bought the modem from them I paid $135 for my surfboard modem...so far no problem. The only complaint is that occasionally the mail servers go down.
