With regard to OpenVPN, this is definitely a possibility. Another type of VPN is FreeS/WAN. Are there others? Can somebody compare/contrast these two? Is anybody sufficiently knowledgeable to give a talk on these topics? Reminder: WLUG meeting July 17th (WEDNESDAY)

HI everybody, This month's WLUG meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 17th in Kinnicutt Hall on the WPI campus at 7:00 PM. The topic will be "Wireless Networking" and I'm pretty sure we have a speaker. If you have a laptop with a wireless connection, bring it along. I'll bring my new Linksys access point (WAP11) and my laptop. Bring whatever you think will make this an interesting meeting! After the meeting, we'll make a trip to the Boynton Restaurant for pizza and beer. I hope to see you there! Hey Everybody! We've got a meeting tomorrow! Time: 7PM Date: March 16th, 2023 Location: WPI Student Center Chair's Room 129. Virtual Location: https://meet.jit.si/WlugMA Topic: Ventoy, docker stuff, printers, pi compute stuff, etc. I thought I'd show off Ventoy which is a multiboot usb that lets you run a whole pile of different distros. We can definitely talk printers.. I've been deploying lots of Ubuntu 22.04 machines and I've had to delve into the fun that is cups.. I can definitely get on the HP hate bandwagon.. There's some scuttlebutt that Docker is talking about purging all the OSS images of users who don't pony up subscription money.. I'm sure we'll dive off into lots of topics as well. Pi compute boards, personal k8s clusters, etc. As usual snacks and refreshments will be provided and we'll do dinner afterwards and continue the conversation. Hope to see you there!
