Yes, it pulls the pre-packaged files org.love2d.love2d as a base app which includes the Love2D runtime and its dependencies: https://github.com/flathub/org.love2d.love2d/blob/master/org.love2d.love2d.y... Godot engine is very good. I have created new games with that one. I did Pinball Disc Room and Learning Basic on Mars in it. It does do 3D unlike Love but I haven't played with that yet. I don't recommend writing a game engine if you want to make a game just use Godot. Granted even though I recommend it, I have created my own engine for a game even after playing with Godot.
