WLUG meeting November 19th, 2020: Topic: Gamerzilla! Presenter: Dennis Payne
Hey Everybody! We've got a virtual meeting tomorrow Thursday November 19th, 2020. Long time WLUG member Dennis Payne will be giving a presentation on Gamerzilla. http://identicalsoftware.com/gamerzilla/index.html Time: 7PM Location: https://meet.jit.si/WlugMA As usual, expect the banter and usual delve into linux (or not!) related topics. I fully expect as usual it'll go late into the night. See ya there! Later, Tim. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".
Guys, I had a great time at the meeting last night, learned a ton of new stuff and I still can't believe that three hours went by so quickly. Fun! Have a safe holiday all, John
Thanks for everyone listening to my talk. Been putting together changes to make the presentation better. -- Dennis Payne dulsi@identicalsoftware.com https://social.freegamedev.net/channel/dulsi
Thanks for presenting Dennis. It was really cool to hear about the work you've done with Gamerzilla :) Good luck on your next presentation! -- Respectfully, Zori Babroudi On Fri, Nov 20, 2020 at 1:25 PM Dennis Payne via WLUG <wlug@lists.wlug.org> wrote:

The organizers of MiniDebConf Online informed me of a feature of jitsi. When you share your screen, it stops your video. That's why I used guvcview to show my video during the presentation. Apparently if you just click the video button again, it starts showing you in the bottom right corner. The presenter can't see it unless they have two displays and jitsi showing on a non shared screen. -- Dennis Payne dulsi@identicalsoftware.com https://social.freegamedev.net/channel/dulsi
Dennis> Thanks for everyone listening to my talk. Been putting Dennis> together changes to make the presentation better. And a big thank you for putting up with my comments! I hope you took them in the spirit they were offered, and not me being a jerk. I'm not a programmer, but as a long time sysadmin who's worked on compiling various programs over the years and tweaking them to work, I think I have a decent idea of good APIs.... at least I like to think so! :-) Cheers, John
