TripAdvisor is looking for a mid- to senior-level Systems Administrator who will join a team of two systems administrators to support, maintain, and enhance a rapidly growing IT infrastructure that spans across the globe and serves roughly 350 employees worldwide. If you don’t know how to do something you consider it a challenge to try to figure it out for yourself - Have a genuine desire to learn and expand your skill set You will have demonstrated experience with: - Linux systems administration (especially Red Hat variants) - Windows systems administration - Samba - OpenLDAP - Mail server administration - Server virtualization - Scripting (especially perl and bash) - Networking (especially Cisco PIX, ASA and IOS) Duties and Responsibilities include: - Racking and installing servers - Troubleshooting network and server hardware and software problems - Maintaining network infrastructure including switches and firewalls - Maintaining patch management and endpoint security - Assisting with SAN management - Handling escalated helpdesk support tickets - Participating in a 24x7 on-call emergency pager SAN administration experience is highly desired.
