I want to keep windows and linux accounts seperate(as far as
authentication) but keep the same password.
I have a solution now which produces the ldf files on linux
Since this will include passwords being transfered, it MUST be secure ldap.
Thanks,
Justin

Why not just use ldap as your login authentication on
linux? It can
work similarly to nis. This sounds like active directory stuff...

Figured I'd throw this out there.
I am working on a project that requires me to push .ldf files from a
linux server to a window 2003 server. Basically creating the same
accounts on the linux system onto the windows system.
Does anyone know of linux program that is equivalent of the windows
"ldifde" program? It needs to be able to create a secure connection with
ldaps.
Thanks in advance,
