I cvsup ports at 3 in the morning and had no issues today. I can connect now to cvsup.freebsd.org fine, although the limit on connections for that particular server has been reached, but the system is running. Try a few hosts? -b On Wed, 14 Jan 2004, John Stoffel wrote:

Is anyone else running FreeBSD and having problems talking to any/all of the various CVSup servers around the world? I can't decide if the ISP which hosts the site where I have a co-lo is causing the problem, or if I've just done something stupid with my system setup.
Basically, any connections for port 5999 on most of the CVSup servers I've tried talking to just times out.
For example:
# cvsup ports-supfile Cannot connect to cvsup14.FreeBSD.org: Connection refused Will retry at 14:29:15 Retrying Cannot connect to cvsup14.FreeBSD.org: Connection refused Will retry at 14:40:01
