WLUG Meeting March 12th 2019!

Hey Everybody, We've got a meeting! Date @ Time: March 12, 2019 @ 7pm Location: WPI Student Center Rm 129 (Chairman's Conference Room) at the bottom of the stairs. Topic: TBD but I thought we might talk about subsonic and plex. I guess we should also talk about people working remotely and the technologies that exist on linux for remote desktop access as well. Refreshments and snacks will be provided and we'll head off for dinner afterwards. Sorry for the last notice. recent post, Technocopia, hybrid meetings

I removed & banned the drive-by-spammer. Here is Technocopia's website for those interested: https://technocopia.org/ I like the idea of Hybrid meetings--some participants remote and some in-person. It's hard to do well, though. Does Technocopia have a videoconferencing setup with an in-room camera/mic system, projector, and PC that could join Jitsi? Maybe we could help them set one up.

Next WLUG Meeting! Oct 15th NOT the 8th.

Hey Everybody, I've decided to push the meeting off to the 8th. This is mainly because the second week of October snuck up on me and because I have conflict that night. Hey Gang, My birthday is on the 11th and the family is taking me out for dinner. We'll have the meeting on the 18th instead! I've got some ideas for topics, but if someone has a burning desire to talk about something, let me know! Otherwise I think I'll show off my experiments with TrueNAS scale.
