my deskdtop has Kernel 2.4.22 and the config has processor options for AMD64. RE: [Wlug] WLUG's membership in BUG

I'm not a member, but I DID work at RCN during that MegaMeeting. Boston User Groups was started as a corporate-sponsored way to get US Datacenters into the User Group scene, as it were. Incidentally, US Datacenters is no longer in that building, IIRC. It sounds to me like the $50 could be better spent in a whole host of ways other than membership in a group for groups that don't interact much. Especially if you can't even get them to put events up on their calendar for your group. Of course, I MIGHT be biased by the fact that they took over the building I worked at for a meeting that they didn't clear with (or notify) any of the other companies OR the management in the building. At least the pizza was good. :)

Annual WLUG BBQ - July 16th - Wed - 6 PM

HI Everybody, The annual WLUG BBQ will be held in place of our next meeting! The BBQ will be held at Doug Waud's house in Shrewsbury, MA. Thanks, Doug! Directions can be found on the WLUG website. WLUG will supply burgers, dogs, chips, soda. Feel free to bring other food items that you might like to share with the rest of us. You may also BYOB if you so desire. Pre-Registration ended at 4:30pm: WLUG Keysigning, Wenesday April 22nd

If you didn't get an email directly from me to you (i.e. not via the wlug email list), then you have missed pre-registration deadline. I generated the final list of keys at about 4:30pm today. Even so, you can certainly still participate--you'll just need to print your key's fingerprint 10-20 times for distribution to others, as it says here under "Right Before the WLUG meeting": http://www.wlug.org/keysigning/ We usually end the meeting by 8:30-9pm, depending on how long things take. Hi Mike, I don't personally have RedHat 7.1 in my possession (I'm a SuSE kinda guy) but I'm sure there are folks in the group who have copies. I suspect that people will bring these to the next meeting, so if you make it, you could probably grab a copy that way.
