Sorry about the A/V troubles..

Last night because I had the presentation full screened I failed to see that the audio had dropped out. For the next meeting I'm going to bring a dedicated laptop whose sole job is to be the "meeting" laptop that just drives Jitsi. As an aside, I'm glad everybody liked the presentation. I'll put my slides up somewhere sensible. Thanks, Tim. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".

Oops. I should have said more. The chief interesting point of my new site is a new markup language specifically designed to make delivery of compact pages easy. It still needs work, but functions well on laptops and smartphones. It supports a variety of technologies including scientific visualizations, graphs, plots, and lots more. The full markup language is self-documenting. Get to a command-line and forward along a copy of your X server config file. This is either /etc/X11/XF86Config or /etc/X11/xorg.conf depending on whether you are running XFree86 or X.org... That combined with the information you just sent should be enough to triage. My only concern is that you are getting events from two pointers on the usb bus that both think they are the correct mouse. non-Linux: Looking for a free kitten locally

I know I have not ever sent an email, but I've been on the mailing list for some time. Been extremely interested in going to meetings but just have not done so yet. If you are local, and have healthy kittens to give away or know anyone who does locally (I live in Lancaster, about 20 minutes away from Worcester), please respond. Looking to just get one, at maximum 5 months old. I have been scouring the web and craigslist and have not found much. I do not really want to drop the amount they want at the local animal shelter.
