Dang, I missed this meeting completely. It certainly looks interesting, but what is the real drive here to replace git/mercurial/etc with yet another VCS? I don't see what one executable is a feature, unless you want to be able to copy it all over the place easily... It looks like it should work, and I guess I should try to stuff the kernel source tree into it and see what happens. LOL! John

Oracle deleted the public IP from the virtual NIC. I'm not sure if it was because it was an "ephemeral public IP" (it lasted at least 2 years), but this time I created a "reserved public IP" and updated the DNS registrar and all the DNS servers.

Who was that guy?

They're looking to hire a mechanical engineer where I work, and talking about how a lot of the best candidates have been from WPI. That got me thinking about one guy who'd been at several meetings, and graduated maybe 2 years ago, though I don't think he was an engineering major. He had a legendary appetite and I think he moved to Nashua. I'm pretty sure his name had 2 syllables and started with 'S'. I keep thinking "Salman", but I'm pretty sure that's wrong. Who was that guy? -- Rich

X11 app on Windows
