Follow up to tonights meeting

Howdy! We covered a few topics tonight, including this one: http://news.com.com/2008-1082_3-5065859.html?tag=lh and this one: http://www.justlinux.com/forum/showthread.php?t=141352 And more discussions about gentoo vs (insert distro here). We covered some iPod things, and maybe helped someone with a perl script. I showed off my little Dell L700 laptop and enlightenment desktop manager...very lightweight and has nice eye candy, but no icons. Lots of discussions around Intel and AMD as well...hopefully we will see that pdf regarding the lawsuit... For the holidays I setup my raspberry pi to act as an automatic christmas tree waterier. Thus I've become quite acquainted with the GPIO (General Purpose I/O) pins on the raspberry pi. I could definitely give a talk that would be a primer on controlling TTL devices using a raspberry pi and python. You could also do: gpg --list-key --list-options show-photos <keyid | userid | ...> In theory it should work on Linux in X as well, though you may need to set "--photo-viewer". "man gpg" is helpful, look for "photo". :) There may be GUI tools out there to deal with the keys as well. I will try to make it to the virtual location. It sound interesting. I am looking googling mdadm for a raid 1 drive. In particular I am making notes of how to mount a raid1 drive (for emergency recovery). Is the expected location of the raid array at /dev/mdXX or /dev/md/mdXX?
