Something like Tailscale Funnel might meet your needs with CGNAT. https://tailscale.com/kb/1223/funnel You would need a cheap VPS to act as the funnel entry but those are fairly inexpensive these days. -------- Original Message -------- On 7/9/25 9:22 PM, Kevin Stratton via WLUG wrote: > I am interested in a pihole as well. Just wanted to say that the "suspend to disk" feature is available on a desktop machine. With Gentoo I use the 'suspend2-sources', and have had no problems with hibernating both my Athlon 64 desktop computer, nor Pentium3 laptop. A good howto is available on the Gentoo Wiki site, http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Software_Suspend_v2 The instructions are fairly informative, that even non-Gentoo users should be able to use the howto as a stepping stone to getting the feature into their kernel. Hope this is of some help. -- Jon Gaudette

apcupsd talk by Doug Mildram

by Andy Stewart

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 HI gang, At our most recent WLUG meeting, Doug Mildram gave us a nice demo of his APC Smart UPS 620 which was connected to a Linux laptop running apcupsd and also a Windows laptop running the same free software. I had mentioned in the meeting that I was able to view the UPS data via a GUI on my web browser. I am running version 3.12.4 of apcupsd, and in the src/cgi directory is a file called upsstats.cgi. That's the magic file to which I point my browser to set the GUI type display. Thanks, Doug, for giving the talk on short notice. We enjoyed it!
