I am violently, foaming mad, opposed to the idea of giving that mailing list to any third party. This includes Facebook, Yahoo, Google, as well as meetup.com, which I have never heard of. What advantage could there possibly be? If somebody wants to plant a pointer to the WLUG web page there, or most anywhere else, then go ahead. I can't stop you and I don't want to try. -- Keith

The port of Tru64 to Itanium must have been after I left. I do not know anyone in the Tru64 product management that would have given any life to that project. No life. None. Hi all... hope someone can help... been away from the meetings for a while... ( like a year ) due to health reasons... then to boot my linux machine had a massive failure and i had to replace it... had it all set up the forward and masquerade a couple of windows boxes through my dsl connection... ( verizon ) have the pppoe all set up... but can't for the life of me remember how to set up the ipchains to handle the windows boxes for the wife and kids... and man they are getting hostile about not being able to get on the internet from home... i know it was not that hard to set up but for the life of me i can not find the docs i used in the first place... hoping to make some meetings soon... now that the health is getting back to "normal"... and buying beer for the helpful guy that can get my network back to normal as well... best regards to all dave goss

The thing you need to remember with the redhat-config-securitylevel utility, is that every time you go into it, it defaults to the High setting, and does NOT show you what the current setting is. People are confused by this all the time, since they think that after changing it to Medium or Low, it should stay on that setting the next time they open the control panel.
