I vaguely remember mirc. Neither mirc nor pirch were available through the Microsoft Store. I installed something, but never got around to trying it, and now I'm wfh on my own computer. I'll still be booting into Windows for work, so, whatever it was, I'll probably install it again. A little late and I'm not really a public speaker but... I have recently configured a fairly complex directory which backs a number of applications Unix/Linux accounts , SAMBA domain, Open Exchange Groupware, Jive Messenger (a jabber server), postfix, VPN Concentrator 3500. All user / group account information is managed through smbldap scripts from IDELX which I patched to also support the Open Exchange attributes and some convenience stuff for bulk adding users and keeping passwords in sync across all applications. This is an attempt to rid my network of Microsoft and it's working well so far, for a company of 63 people. If someone is looking for some uses for LDAP out side of just an email directory I may be able to help. Or if you just have any questions. meeting topic brainstorm

As Andy suggested, Anyone have ideas? Like to see something presented? Anyone done much with LDAP servers? Authentication? Network security? iptables? One thing i would like to know. I currently have an iptables FW setup with logging of all rejected packets. Something similar to LogWatch that summarizes the rejected packets would be nice.
