Future Meeting idea...Zombie Load Attack

by Tim Keller

I saw that one of the researchers for the https://zombieloadattack.com/ Zombie Load attack is working on a Ph.d at WPI! Would this be something that people might be interested in? If so I'll reach out and see if he'd like to give a talk at WLUG. Later, Tim. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".

The history of the UG, is an entirely legitimate subject for a meeting, I would say. History is important! --MCV. Me too. I was in & out briefly, but did not have camera or microphone on my desktop computer. I hope to participate more in the future. - Bob Evans On 4/9/20 6:59 PM, Joel via WLUG wrote: > Hi All, > > Not going to make it to tonight's conference. > > Hope you are all well, > > Joel >

Great News! Technopia is now open to the public!

by Tim Keller

Hey Gang, I just checked the website and Technopia is now open to the public. So... not this meeting, but hopefully the next one we can have in person! Please let me know how you feel about physical meetings. I'm amenable to waiting another month or two if people are still weary. Later, Tim. -- I am leery of the allegiances of any politician who refers to their constituents as "consumers".

I hope you took them in the spirit they were offered, and not me being a jerk. I'm not a programmer, but as a long time sysadmin who's worked on compiling various programs over the years and tweaking them to work, I think I have a decent idea of good APIs.... at least I like to think so! :-) Cheers, John

Perhaps ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana) would work. Oh look, someone has a recipe for how to do that: https://logz.io/blog/bro-elk-part-1/
