wlug members, I work for a health care company in Wellesely Hills that may soon be looking for a temp linux/windows sys admin. I am not sure if this has been officially announced, so I make no promises, nor do I decide who gets hired, so don't look for favor's, nor be mad if this is false hope. I just wanted to extend the information to the team. However, if you are interested, we might by looking for someone with 3+ years linux support (RH) and a 6+ year windows background. we have 380+ Windows/Novell/linux servers, and the linux piece is growing faster and becoming business critical...thus the need for this person. Being the senior linux person here, I want to dedicate myself to linux, which will leave a gap in the windows support. This new role would be to fill in that windows gap, and support linux with me, bridging the gaps in both areas. This will be only a temp/contract position. Typically the contract is for 3 months, but all other contractors here stay until they find perminant rolls (here or elsewhere).
