My ULTRA1 hard drives do not have a separate four pin power connector. That's the CD drive. Here's what one of my hard drives says: Seagate Barracuda Model ST32171WC It has a connector with about 76 pins. They are too small for me to count accurately. ---------------------------------------- I have decided to stick with my present installation of a 2004 Aurora package on my 3.2 Gig disk. I can mount my old Linux disk so I can get at the files I wish to preserve. I can even back them up. I think I can RPM some newer versions from the WEB. I have a brand new Fedora 12 Beta packages disk that refused to load. Checksum?? Gotta get Md5sum going... Thank you for all your support and tell me when you get a PDP10 or 11 working. Inputting from punched paper telegraph tape will bring back memories. Ken ======= Email scanned by PC Tools - No viruses or spyware found. I think 80 pins is the closest SCSI standard, if I recall correctly. I think I have a drive that would work, if I can just remember to look for it when I get home... -- Rich
Hey Ken, is that the Ultra I gave you? I think those are SCA adapters (hotswap style) On 05/24/10 12:19, Ken Jones wrote:
