for country TLD's, i use whatever is cheapest ;)

Register.com has annoyed me by sending "Your domain will be expiring soon, renew now!" postal mails, in a nasty slamming attempt since I've never used register.com. Thumb down. Network Solutions has given me nothing but problems, not to mention that their policies all suck. I was "given" namesbeyond.com when I grabbed hanley.net via snapnames.com on
one impulsive spring day. I really can't say they are good ot bad not
having a whole lot of experience with registrars...but I haven't had any
problems with them.
However, I am confused as to why there are so may registrars and how they
all make money.
