I use OpenSRS (or a friend who's a reseller for them anyway), two thumbs up. I used Dotster without any complaints a year or two ago, one thumb up. Register.com has annoyed me by sending "Your domain will be expiring soon, renew now!" postal mails, in a nasty slamming attempt since I've never used register.com. Thumb down. Network Solutions has given me nothing but problems, not to mention that their policies all suck. Two thumbs down. -- Randomly Generated Tagline: I didn't want a hokey second wedding like those ones on TV! This one's for real! -- Homer Simpson A Milhouse Divided
I've been happy with www.gandi.net. About $12 a domain, no hassles, excellent service. - Rob On Friday 20 September 2002 09:30 pm, Theo Van Dinter wrote:

I was "given" namesbeyond.com when I grabbed hanley.net via snapnames.com on one impulsive spring day. I really can't say they are good ot bad not having a whole lot of experience with registrars...but I haven't had any problems with them. However, I am confused as to why there are so may registrars and how they all make money. -- Gary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Michael Kingsbury" <mike@beakerware.net> To: <wlug@mail.wlug.org> Sent: Friday, September 20, 2002 9:13 PM Subject: [Wlug] Slight O/T: Preferred Registrar?
