WLUG website on PDA web browser
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 HI gang, I recently got a Palm T|X and was using the web browser. It works fine for websites that are written in a certain way (mobile.palm.com, for example). Our WLUG website comes up with the WLUG graphical header but no useful text info. I'm wondering if it would be hard to format (at least the home page of) the website to display cleanly on a PDA (320x480 or 320x320) as well as a normal computer screen. Does anybody have the expertise and time to give this a try? If its a huge effort, it is probably not worth it, but I don't have the expertise to size up the effort. Thanks! If it's like the one or two other phone based browsers I've played with, it probably doesn't handle frames in a useful way. The solution would be to re-implement the frames based layout using CSS instead. -- Frank Sweetser fs at wpi.edu | For every problem, there is a solution that WPI Network Engineer | is simple, elegant, and wrong. - HL Mencken GPG fingerprint = 6174 1257 129E 0D21 D8D4 E8A3 8E39 29E3 E2E8 8CEC
