I'm sorry I didn't follow this thread from the start, but I can explain how we have Samba setup at our client site: We are running Samba 2.2.2 on the server side (Solaris 2.6 or 2.7) with mostly Windows 2000 clients connecting on the client side. When I want to map my home directory from my Windows 2000 client, I use Map Network Drive and supply the following information: Drive: <some letter> Folder: \\clemens\simoncim When I hit finish, it maps my Unix home directory without any problems.
